The much needed expansion of Turks and Caicos’s main airport on Providenciales is now well underway and is on target to be completed in late 2014.
Island Life will revisit this project in the coming months as it progresses giving you upto date pictures and information as the airport works move towards completion.
The first phase seen here is the construction of a new traffic circulation system, an extension to the existing car park and departure lounge.
We know that many visitors to Turks will be pleased to see this new work as the old terminal building was over crowded at peak times on Saturdays and Sundays during the high season.
We’ll be following its progress with great interest.
